17th Sending [Video/Commentlog]

[Talia is down once more in the stables, working on grooming the horses with a patience many just wouldn't understand. Once she's got her chosen mount properly set to rights, she begins the mucking of its stall, not lifting her journal until all the hoofed creatures are seen to.]

I don't suppose anyone would care to join me on a ride? I find it far more enjoyable with a bit of company.

I've been on horseback since I was old enough to toddle and yet it remains something I love. Would you care to join me?

Talia gives a half smile, amusement in her gaze and tone.]

Well, I would hate to take you away from anything else that might have you occupied. Shall I prepare your mount, or would you prefer to do so yourself?

[Well, just because a handful of people want to see you strung up, doesn't mean EVERYONE does, OKAY??

She inclines her head in response.]

It would be no bother to wait, but I will happily prepare a suitable mount for you.

[And NO, that's not a threat or some sneaky loaded statement, missy; it's just words that mean exactly what they say.

And she'll be in the stable doing just that, preparing one of the horses that is NOT Plunge for Kloe. See, Kloe, she's totally looking out for you. She'll be just finishing cinching the saddle strap when Kloe gets there. :)]

[Okay maybe she's just a LITTLE paranoid.

Kloe arrives promptly and just assumes Talia is the woman she's looking for, since she doesn't see anyone else around anyway.]

[Talia looks up at the greeting, a hand casually falling to the hilt of her scimitar until she sees that it is Kloe that has joined her.]

Heyla, Kloe.

[She offers the woman a warm smile that seems entirely genuine before extending a hand toward her.]

Thank you for joining me... I'm Talia.

[Talia can respect a strong female figure and there is no doubt that Kloe is one. She knows all about the woman's past here at the Keep, and it would be hard not too after the ruckus that arose after the infection spread through the residents therein.

And the woman had payed her dues for that mistake and seen about getting the problem taken care of.

She offers a half smile and gestures to the gelding she has tacked up for her.]

I went with one of geldings... the mare is a good girl, but if you get here near water... well, let's just say it's in everyone's best interest that we take the geldings out.

She approaches the horse Talia has set up for here in the meantime.]

[Talia pats the gelding on the neck before turning to make the final adjustments to her own mounts' gear.]

She has an affinity for it and will take her rider into it without pause. Not menacingly, mind, but she can't be turned away once she's sighted on it. I've ridden her several times around and away from it, and she's fine, but bring her near the lake...?

[She shakes her head with a wry grin.]

She'll run you in kicking and screaming and promptly vanish beneath you, ending up back here fine as the moment you took her out.
