Although I know it is not a holiday celebrated on all of our worlds, mine amongst them, I wish to offer a Happy Thanksgiving to those that care to accept. Even in a place such as this, I find I am still very much thankful for the friends and family that remain in my life.

[Although, she could do without her husband beating the shit out of innocent pirates and other passers by; that sure as hell was a bummer.]

Oddly enough, that seems to be something people do to celebrate this particular holidy; eat themselves into a near comatose state.

There is something called 'mashed potatoes' that I had never had until leaving my own world. They are, simply said, delicious... I would not deny such a treat as that.

It's a holiday celebrated from those of Earth, but not where I myself am from. Those celebrating take time to show thanks to those around them, or for the things around them, that they are grateful for. There is feasting and time spent together with family and friends...

So, if it's not from your universe, why are you celebrating it?

[Talia is the ever-present form or patience and serenity and Toph's brusque attitude don't seem to much bother her. She chuckles softly in response, her tone still soft.]

Because some of those I call friend and care for do celebrate it; and, in a place such as this, I think I will take the good days in much higher preference to the bad.
