[Talia's voice has a particular edge to it and she's doing all she can to keep her shields tight. The only thing she allows through is a sense of calm for her dear husband.]

[Kevas knows her well enough to know something's up but he keeps his voice calm as ever.]

Joo know I always be havin' a moment fuh joo.

[Oh, Kevas .. you know your wife so well. Unfortunately she has not yet learned the art of locking, so she'll have to do this the hard way.]

Can I meet you somewhere? Perhaps with a bit of privacy?

[This can only be one of two things and judging by the seriousness, he really doubts that it's a roll in the hay.]

[There is no hesitation in her reply, but alas there rendevoux will not be for anything pleasant.]

[The urgency in her voice tells him that whatever it is she means business. His training can continue later and he hurries off the Green to Talia's room in the barracks.]

[Well, whew! It sure is a good thing that Talia isn't an empath or anything that can find him with her brain!!

[Oh. Oh dear. How unfortunate for poor, sweet, innocent Tony. He's been framed, he swears!]

[Talia doesn't reply anymore than she already has, but she is in her room waiting when he comes knocking.]

[Once he's inside, however, the door closes most securely behind him and she turns to face him.]

When was the last time you spoke with Mimmi?

[Well, clearly!! What man in his right mind would beat the hell out of a woman for speaking her mind? That'd be so silly!!]

[Alright that's not a question he was expecting, although he wasn't entirely sure what he was expecting in the first place. Something serious to be sure but what does this have to do with Mimmi?]

[He's been a bit busy taking care of a certain nine year old goat girl as well.]

[She picks up on the surprise not only through their bond, but in the openess of his expression. He hadn't known what to expect, but she wasn't going to chew his ear for getting into trouble. No, not with what she was about to share with him.

Talia takes a breath and exhales through her nose, turning to pick up her journal. It's open to Mimmi's current entry, with the past one tagged, as well as the entry Tony made in calling her out. She might not know Mimmi well, and only knew that Tony was bad news through Kevas. Even so, this was really heavy shit.]

Tony attacked her. I haven't seen her, yet, but I've every belief that she's keeping to herself because that dung blasted piece of filth hurt her bad enough that she doesn't want to be seen.

[She's already been through any of the entries that were made and will let Kevas read through them quickly if he so chooses.

Can you understand the anger and horror lickig at the edge of your bond now, Kevas? :(]

[It's been sometime since Kevas has ever seen Talia this riled up over something. Normally she's the one jumping to his side to settle him down. Whatever has happened Kevas can already tell he's not going to like it. Once he reads the entries she's showed him it all becomes immediately obvious.]

Tony joo stupid piece of shit.

[His words are calm but there's no hiding the hate behind them, at least not to her. The troll is seething beneath his skin, and this couldn't have come at a worst time. He just promised Rapunzel that she wouldn't find him in the dungeon or stocks again. He doesn't want to go breaking her trust just after he said that. This time it will require more thought than simply beating him to a pulp.]

I'll take care of dis.

[Kevas looks at Talia with a steely determination when he says this.]

[There's pretty much a balance that remains pretty well in place in regards to Talia and Kevas. She typically has no problem being the balm to calm his lashing out. There are very few things that bother her enough to get angry about, but this is one that short list. This sort of violence is mindless and unecessary and she can find no excuse for it at all.

His response neither shocks nor alarms her, as she'd felt and seen him this angry before. She can feel the niggling annoyance and guilt over just having promised to behave himself. She knows, however, that this issue is an unforgivable offense.]

We'll take care of this. I can't abide by bullies or abusers.

[She meets his gaze evenly, chin rising just a touch.]

I can find him when you want him. There is nowhere he can hide that I cannot find him. Nowhere.

[Not a boast in the slightest. Simple fact.]

[Now this is a surprise, a not an unpleasant one in the least. Normally his family is quick to talk him out of seeking vengeance. Kevas likes this change, although he's smart enough to not expect it to happen often.

Kevas can't help but smile smugly at her response.]

Aye, dat we will, but we be needin' to dis smart. I ain't 'bout to see joo punished fuh dis.

[There's no way in hell he'll have her put in the stocks for accompanying on this.]

Of dat I be havin' no doubt. Remind me to nevah angah joo.

[Kevas chuckles, but it's a dark sound.]

[Other times Talia might be quick to deter her life mate from his chosen path, but this time she is not only encouraging, but willing to get her own hands dirty. Mimmi was important to Kevas and was one of the few remaining survivors from the Elegante and the Shore. That was more than enough to step from the safety of inaction and see something done.

She smiles slightly at his response, but nods.]

I would prefer that we both remain clear of the stocks or dungeon, but it will be a punishment well earned.

[She smirks slightly and chuckles.]

You'd atleast know I was coming, beloved. I do not expect that he will be so lucky in that respect.

[In fact, she planned to make certain of it.]

[Kevas had already given his warning to Tony, and while Mimmi wasn't apart of his family, she was one of the survivors of the Elegante and that meant something at least. Besides, Kevas has no intentions on holding up his end of the bargain with a scumbag like Tony.

The troll grins back at her.]

If we play dis smart, maybe neiddah of us will.

[And Kevas fully intends on getting creative with this situation.]

No he won't. Not in da least.

[Tony will never know what hit him.]

Y-you know Kevas?

[Talia may not be tech savvy like some of the Earth brought people, but she knows magic and she's seen several seals by now. It takes her a few tries to get it right but after a moment she replies to the unfamiliar young woman. When she does, the reply is properly sealed and her tone is even once more.]

I do, yes .. He is my husband.

[Have you seen Talia, Chloe? I don't think you have yet, have you? Could she be a troll, like her beloved? Or was she something altogether different?? Brain bending shall begin in three .. two .. one..

Her tone is actually a bit amused as she continues.]

[She's blushing, wondering who Talia was, but also relieved Kevas had a wife. Certainly if he was married he was trustworthy, right? Derek would be happy about that, at least. She thinks.]

I-I just met him. Through Sollux. [Great. Now she's blathering.]

[The response is just a little unexpected and the empath finds herself chuckling softly.]

Aye .. Friend, husband and soul mate alike. As if one title is not enough, I lay claim with several..

[Chloe, marriage does not instantly a nice troll make. Yes, it happens to play true this time, but if you ask Sollux he might tell you to be all kinds of wary around Talia and her prying mind. :( ]

I see .. Sollux is a good lad. I trust Kevas treated you well?

[Her tone is gentle and warm as she speaks to Chloe.]

[Line. Face.]

[Now, now, Aht .. Mommy Talia treats Daddy Kevas perfectly well.]
